WebSphere Java Developers

Job Description

This position will work with customers and team members to gather project requirements; design scalable, robust software solutions; and develop and deploy those solutions to enable our customers to successfully meet their business objectives.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will have professional experience in the following technologies: WebSphere Application Server 3.5 and above, Java/J2EE, EJB's, JavaBeans, Servlets, DB2 or Oracle, OO Modeling and Knowledge of XML, XSL, javascript. They will also have a strong background in performance diagnostics and resolution as well as the following:

They will need to have at least 3 years of;

  • Java Development,
  • J2EE architecture and implementation,
  • Server side java,
  • Middleware,
  • Application integration,
  • JDBC interactions with relational databases,
  • Analyzing and developing Web applications

They also need to have at least 1 year experience utilizing

  • WebSphere Studio Application Developer
  • Packaging and deploying with WAR and EAR files,
  • HTML and javascript development experience,
  • Java & IBM Certifications as well as WebSphere Commerce Suite or Portal experience would be a major plus.

STRONG TEAM PLAYING, PROBLEM SOLVING, MULTI-TASKING and EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE REQUIRED!

Travel Requirements

Initial Project is in the Dallas/Fort Worth area however future projects may require traveling. The candidate must be willing to travel outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
